Perhaps you may not have noticed, but over the last few weeks, Facebook has made several functionality changes.  These changes increase ease of use for social media marketers managing Facebook pages for their businesses.  While not as earthshattering as the March conversion to Timeline, the changes are a Community Managers dream.

Comment Editing.  How many times have you posted a comment on Facebook and hit “Enter” only to see the published version with a typo?  If you noticed immediately, it’s easy to delete the comment and re-publish.

This week saw one large website -eHarmony and one large social media site -LinkedIn take hits by hackers. More importantly the hits are at the heart of our personal security – the password.

Passwords are supposed to be personal and secret.  We consider them to be an authentication, a personal part of our online identity, and protection to areas that we access.  The major concerns from this week’s hack focus on the easy access to these personal protections we’ve created.
